Jonathan has a variety of vampiric powers that may affect your character if you so choose. Please fill in the form below so I know where the lines are! If we are threading and I do not have info here from you, I will typically use narration to defer the decision to whether or not a particular ability works on your character to you. His abilities include:

• Glamour - the ability to mask his inhuman characteristics, such as sheet-white skin, certain scars, his fangs, and his claws. (this can be seen through by anyone with a talent for illusions, inhuman senses, or humans with experience dealing with vampires)
  
• Mesmerize - the ability to mind-control a person. This includes ordering them to do something, to tell him things they would not otherwise, and modifying or removing their memories. (this requires initial visual eye contact, the ability to speak to give orders, and a stronger will-power; slap a blindfold and gag on him or have a character who is more willful than Jonathan, and they don't work)
  
• Coagulation - the ability to halt someone from moving for up to three seconds by manipulating their blood (he requires blood to do this)
  
• Vampire Voodoo Senses - the ability to sense illness or other abnormalities in the body; if it's tied to blood in some way, Jonathan may be able to sense it. (Jonathan's experience is limited to humans, vampires, and their ailments; if your character is some other species or has special magics, Jonathan may be able to sense that, but he won't know what it means)

<b>Glamour</b> - Will Jonathan's human glamour work on your character? <b>Mesmerize</b> - Can Jonathan mesmerize your character? To what extent? Please let me know things you are explicitly not interested in (e.g., memory modification) <b>Coagulation</B> - Can Jonathan use his Coagulation ability to temporarily halt your character's movements if he has sufficient blood? <b>Vampire Voodoo Senses</B> - Is there anything special about your character's blood? Do they have any medical conditions that he might be able to sense? Are they human? Can he sense that they are not human? Or a garden variety human?


Jonathan also has some notable weaknesses beyond the above that any character may be able to exploit, if you so choose. They are:

• Sunlight - severely injures and incapacitates Jonathan, even though it won't kill him.
  
• Fire - will similarly produce particularly aggravated wounds that Jonathan has trouble healing from.
  
• Holy Symbols - will physically repel Jonathan if brandished at him. He can't get near them and they essentially burn his eyes and force him to move back or away. This is shown in canon as crucifixes, but I am extending this to any religious symbol of a similar importance (e.g., the Star of David).
  
• Bloodlust - will occur when Jonathan has not had enough blood. He is physically incapable of consuming anything except blood--no food, no drinks. This can also occur when he is injured and unable to regenerate quickly. He essentially enters a fugue state, the world becomes muffled, turning to black and white. Humans become black outlines pulsing with blood, indistinguishable from one another. Jonathan is at his most dangerous at these times as he will act on pure instinct to obtain blood.

1. Can they cross running water?
Yes.

2. Do they have a reflection?
Yes.

3. Does silver hurt them?
No.

4. Can they ONLY drink blood?
Yes. Drinking anything else or attempting to eat makes him vomit copious amounts of blood and whatever he just ate.

5. Are they weak against holy symbols?
Yes and no. If a holy symbol is brandished at him, it will force him to fall back or paralyze him. If it's just existing in the nearby vicinity, it had no effect on him and he can even pick up holy symbols, himself.

6. Weak against blessed objects/water?
Holy water will burn him. Blessed objects only affect him if they are being brandished.

7. Weak against garlic?
No.

8. Weak against plants?
No.

9. Can they procreate with a human?
No. There's some propaganda from his canon that states a human and a vampire can create a Twilight-esque baby that eats its way out of the womb, but the IC source for that information is dubious, at best, and has other demonstrably untrue publications based on canon happenings.

10. Are you turned into a vampire by being bitten? Consuming a vampire's blood?
You have to consume a vampire's blood. Jonathan's is particularly potent and takes only a few drops to create a powerful vampire.

11. Can they shape-shift?
Vampires, in general, are able to turn themselves into black mist. Vulkods are a sub-species that can shape-shift into werewolf-esque creatures and there is lore related to harpy-esque vampires. It's unclear if this is a skill Ekon's might be able to acquire.

12. Can they fly?
No. But he can turn to mist and get pretty much anywhere within his line of sight and jump really far as alternatives.

13. Are they affected by the sun?
Yes. The sun causes aggravated damage and will burn him down to bone. He will regenerate from it, though. It's just slow and agonizing.

14. Do they sleep in a coffin?
No.

15. Can they hypnotize/mesmerize people?
Yes. Jonathan has a specific mesmerizing ability in canon that he uses... probably far too often.

16. Do they have other magic?
Jonathan has a wide variety of blood and shadow magic at his disposal that includes such highlights as shadow tentacles, a blood spear, and manipulating the blood in someone's veins.

17. Can they heal themselves?
Yes. It is referred to as autophagy and is a specific skill in the game. He heals by drinking a small amount of his own blood.

18. Do they have an erotic bite?
No. He has perma fangs. It's like getting mauled by a bear. People in canon shriek. Hope you're into pain.

19. Are they weak to fire?
Yes. It is one of the things that can kill him and it causes aggravated damage, which means his natural regeneration can only heal it to a point. He has to use his blood magic or other means to heal fully.

20. Can they be staked or beheaded to a permanent death?
Both of these things will work.

21. Can they enter a place where they have not been invited?
QUESTIONABLE. But probably yes. Game mechanics are wishywashy on this point. Jonathan breaks into numerous private residences. But he is also barred from entering some by characters... presumably because he is polite. Also, he can't get through locked gates in canon. Gotta love that ludonarrative dissonance.
