[ Will had been sent the picture, anonymously, the day after his 'punishment' had been played out. He'd immediately deleted it, but like internets everywhere, once something is out there it's out there forever.
Which meant that when all the shenanigans with the hacking, misfiring started to occur, with Will's luck, the damn picture went out into the public. ]
[At this point, Jonathan is starting to think there is something seriously wrong with the network system. He sees the picture and it's attached to Will Graham's name and... what on earth is the man even wearing? It looks like one of those awful harnesses he'd been forced into on Patara.]
Mr. Graham, I believe this was sent to me in error. You may wish to review and delete any copies of it you have.
Indeed? I think there may be something very wrong with the network system. This is not the first missive this week that I have received in error. My own have likewise gone where they were not intended a few times.
Some of the things I have been sent were not likely to bring me closer to the person sending them. And the ones I've sent out... some of them have been wholly mundane. I carried on a conversation with Mr. Gray about flowers and gardens thinking I was speaking to another.
[Jonathan sighs. How old is this man? Surely he's Jonathan's own age, at least.]
What I mean to say is that there does not appear to be any rhyme or reason to what is being sent and to whom. If this is a tactic by our jailers, it would seem to be focused on sewing chaos more than anything.
Dr. Reid, of the many matters currently straining for my at the moment, I'm afraid this is one mystery that is not high on the list.
Do you see any evidence of chaos in particular? Or are most people approaching this not unlike ourselves? Talking and determining that these were inadvertently sent.
[The turn of phrase has Jonathan's brow furrowing.]
Lions concern me less than crows in this instance, sir. Clever creatures seeking to cause some distraction to further some greater goal. Perhaps diverting the farmer while they rob him of his stores.
But I will delete the photograph and you may carry on as you like. Though, I would advise, belts are more appropriately worn outside clothes.
During misfire shenanigans

My apologized Dr. Reid. I was under the impression that I had deleted this particular image.

[ He hits send before he realizes what he just said. Rolling his eyes at himself, Will shakes his head. Too late to call the text back. ]
